Follow Friday
The Follow Friday meme is hosted by Parajunkee and, well, it’s my first time doing this

This week’s question is: Do you judge a book by its cover?
I hate to say this, but yes, I do judge books by their cover. I know it means that I’ll probably miss out on some great book with a horrible/boring cover, but still. I mean, I sometimes pick up books just because their covers are so pretty. So, yes, I judge books by their cover.

Oh, well, yeah, you’d totally see ways to improve covers, and you probably could, too
Thanks, and I’m right about to stop by!
I always judge a book by its cover. I tend to only read the descriptions of the books that are eye catching and miss out on a lot of amazing reads. I do, however go to a book if the reviews are positive even if the cover isn’t.
New follower:)

Happy FF!!
That’s so true
Thanks for following; I followed you, too!
The cover always gets my attention first, but the description has to sell me! It can take forever to try out a book with a cover I didn’t like. I’m a new follower. My FF is at Coffee Table Reviews
Hi, thanks for your visit and I agree. I judge even if we shouldn’t it is really hard not to grab up that cover that is really striking. It can be a bad way to go though as I have read some really amazing books and the covers were not really that great, and the other way around also where the cover rocked but the book itself did not.
A new follower for ya
and happy FF!
Have a great weekend!

All of us judge books by their cover to some extent. It’s tough not too. A pretty cover will make me pick up a book I otherwise wouldn’t notice. It’s an important part of the marketing process.
Megan @ Read It, See It
I think we can all agree that even the most beautiful book cover can’t sell a book if the writing’s not there. Book cover art may, at best, help steer me in the book’s direction (especially if I’m in a book store) but it’s not going to hypnotize me into buying it right then and there.
I expound on all the marketing qualities of a good book. Just follow me back to my book blog – http://www.howardsherman.net

I also admit to this. I mean, it’s hard not to judge a book by its cover! The first thing that meets your eyes is appearances! Rarely, a summary will make me want to read the book. It happens often, so I read the summary all the time
